STF publishes minutes and makes official rejection of Bolsonaro’s appeal
1st Panel unanimously decided to deny the motion for clarification presented by the defense of the former president and 6 defendants convicted in the coup attempt
Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) participated in the march in favor of amnesty for those arrested on the 8th of January, which took place in Brasília this Wednesday (May 7, 2025). On Tuesday (May 6), he said that the chance of attending was “close to zero”. The demonstration, organized by Malafaia, started at 4pm and was destined for the Esplanada dos Ministérios, but did not reach Congress, Bolsonaro spoke in front of Brasília Cathedral. The event had speeches from deputies and the pastor. Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro also spoke in an electric trio.
