Adam Sandler says he lives in a phase of gratitude: “Phenomenal moment in life”

The actor Adam Sandler59, said he is grateful for the “really cool life” he has built over the past few decades. The star, father of Sunny, 19, and Sadie, 16, from his marriage to Jackie Sandler, 51, declared that he is experiencing a moment of appreciation for his own career.

In an interview with People magazine, the artist declared: “I’m more grateful than ever. Happy to have lived this life, happy for all the people who have been with me through it all and helped me. It’s been a phenomenal life time.”

The actor, who met Jackie behind the scenes of the film “The Big Daddy” (1999), assured that the relationship between them remains strong even after so many years of togetherness. “We are very close. We like to talk, laugh, have fun, think about things and take care of our daughters”, he reported.

Despite being satisfied with his personal and professional life, Adam – known for his casual style, with baggy t-shirts and printed shorts – recently confessed that he is hating the more formal look he adopted during the promotion of his new film “Jay Kelly”.

“. I don’t like the feeling. I think I only have three suits and I don’t like any of them. I can’t stand the pants, the jackets, those stupid shirts. I hate all of it”, he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

His co-star, George Clooney, revealed in an interview with People magazine that he was the .

“I was the one who told Adam to wear suits. Don’t you think he looks more elegant like that, instead of wearing those baggy shorts?”, joked the actor.

“I love him. He’s the sweetest man in the world, a great friend, it was wonderful to be able to work with him again.”

The film follows famous actor Jay Kelly (George Clooney) and his manager Ron (Adam Sandler) on a journey of discovery during a trip through Europe.

The film premieres in selected cinemas on November 20th and will be available in the Netflix catalog from December 5th.
