President of Venezuela on stage, appealing for peace. Trump talks to everyone – but does not rule out the scenario of an invasion of Venezuela.

Nicolas Maduro He was giving another speech in Venezuela, during a rally in Miranda, when he remembered singing the most famous song from John Lennon’s solo career.
The music even played on the speakers at the rally held last Sunday, while members of the Government made the traditional gesture of peace with their hands.

Maduro calls for peace at a time when tension between Venezuela and USA is at a historic peak: the Government of Caracas does not like the intensification of the United States military presence in the Caribbean over the last few weeks.
The US began military exercises in Trinidad and Tobago, a country that practically borders Venezuela.
This Monday, the Venezuelan president said he is available to speak “face to face” with Donald Trumpbut warned: US military intervention in Venezuela would be the “political end” of the US president.
Trump, who two months ago had said he would never speak to Maduro, this Monday already said that talk “to anyone”, giving the idea that he is available to speak with the president of Venezuela.
But, in the same conversation with journalists, Donald Trump was asked about a possible military invasion by land: “Nothing is ruled out. We have to resolve the issue of Venezuela”, replied the US president.
Since September, the US has been accused of transporting drugs in the Caribbean and the Pacific; 83 people have already died. To date, the White House has not presented evidence that the boats attacked had drugs on board.
