Caged on a ship for two months: cattle on the way back to Uruguay

Ankara – Animal rights activists see thousands of cattle from Uruguay threatened with death on board a livestock transport ship. The boat Spiridon II, which set sail two months ago, is apparently on its way back to Montevideo after a rejection by Turkey, as the ship tracking service MarineTraffic shows. This has not been officially confirmed. After the long journey, the livestock transport with almost 3,000 cattle remained off the Turkish coast for several weeks.
