The capital has suspended parking fee checks in zones that are connected to the Bratislava Parking Assistant System (PAAS). The reason is a global outage of Cloudflare services, which causes problems and intermittent outages in the PAAS application as well. The capital informs about it on the social network.
“In order to avoid possible complications when paying and subsequently checking the parking fee, we have turned off the PAAS mobile application and suspended checks until further notice.” states the municipality, stating that it will inform about the restoration of the mobile application, as well as the checks themselves.
Many websites and Internet applications were disrupted on Tuesday by an outage by the software company Cloudflare. She has already informed that she is investigating the matter. The US-based company helps websites secure and manage their internet traffic.
