Trump announces US visa priority for foreigners with World Cup tickets

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, together with the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, announced the “Fifa Pass”, a pass that will serve to give priority in the list of interviews and visa appointments to people who have already purchased tickets for the 2026 World Cup. The announcement took place this Monday, at the White House, together with members of the task force set up by the president to help plan the tournament.

— If you have a ticket to the World Cup, you can have priority support to obtain your VISA (visa to enter the United States) — said the president of the United States. And he continued: — With this FIFA Pass, we can guarantee that those who buy a ticket, who are football fans, can come and watch the World Cup in the best conditions.

Infantino, highlighted that “this will be the biggest and most inclusive FIFA World Cup in history, and the FIFA PASS service is a very concrete example of this”.
