Cristiano Ronaldo was received by Donald Trump in the Oval Office of the White House this Tuesday, November 18th. The Portuguese star was accompanied by his future wife, Georgina Rodríguez, and both even had the opportunity to be present at a dinner held in the East Room.
This Wednesday (19), the Portuguese player decided to highlight this moment on his Instagram account and shared images of the meeting with the president of the United States, namely the moment in which he receives a wooden box with a golden key from Trump.
In the caption of the post, Cristiano Ronaldo expressed gratitude for the way he was received, together with Georgina Rodríguez, and was prepared for the future.
“Thank you Mr. President for your invitation and for the warm welcome you and the First Lady gave me and my future wife, Georgina. Each of us has something meaningful to give, and I am ready to do my part as we inspire new generations to build a future defined by courage, responsibility and lasting peace.”he wrote.
