In the week in which World Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is celebrated, Patrícia Lima, founder of begins a new chapter in her trajectory. The movement happens for practical reasons, but it was already in the plans. “Today is that day to look back and see that ‘everything went well’”, says Patrícia.
The practical reason was a decision by the company that had already acquired 75% of the Simple Organic brand in 2020. The pharmaceutical company exercised its option to purchase the remaining shareholding in the ‘clean beauty’ company. “This conclusion shows that the sales decision was correct. We were able to show the market that sustainability and beauty can have scale”, he states.
Patrícia spent eight years leading the business, which started with a few products and ends in 2025 with 100 SKUs and an international presence. Now, his personal challenge is to show the international market the power of other Brazilian brands, with the creation of a hub of beauty and wellness companies.

“Brazil is recognized for its ingredients and active ingredients, but brands are not yet surfing this wave. Someone needed to start this movement, so, in 2026, I will begin this process with a focus on working on branding entrepreneurs and companies in the United States”, he states.

Two other projects compete for the entrepreneur’s attention: 1) a new venture, with the launch of a drink; and 2) the transition to the other side of the counter in entrepreneurship. Patrícia is studying how to set up a fund to invest in other women entrepreneurs.
She already has a venture with Luanna Toniolo, founder of Troc, and Manuela Bordasch, from Steal the look. The trio meets weekly to talk to female entrepreneurs and support them with investment or advice. Now, he is evaluating the possibility of having his own fund. “I leave financially prosperous, but with the blood in my eye to scale other companies and give back”, she says.
