“If it’s up to me, we’ll be on the same platform together”, says Gladson about the union of Mailza and Bocalom

Asked about a possible partnership between vice-governor Mailza Assis and mayor Tião Bocalom in the dispute for state government in 2026, governor Gladson Cameli said in a press conference, this Wednesday (19), that this is his interest.

“It is necessary for all of us to be united. We were successful in the ’22 elections. We were successful in the ’24 elections. And hence the example. And ’26 will be no different,” said Gladson.

Even with good expectations, Gladson said that it is not yet known whether Mailza will be together with Bocalom.

“That’s up to God,” said the governor.

“Look, that’s what I say. Everyone has to aim to get to the Rio Branco Palace. It’s natural for them to expose themselves, for them to make their name available. All of this, I can only tell you that whatever depends on this governor here, everyone will be united on one platform. Regardless of whoever it is. What we have to do is maintain an alliance that has been in place since 2024”, he concluded.
