Radical right-wing Dutch parliamentary speaker voted out

The Hague – The Dutch parliament has elected the right-wing liberal politician Thom van Campen as the new president. The previous chairman, the radical right-wing Martin Bosma, was voted out. After the election defeat of populist Geert Wilders’ anti-Islam party at the end of October, he no longer had a majority. Three weeks after the parliamentary election, the 150 MPs voted on their new leader. The decision was made in the third round.
