Two children in the car: Police stop the driver with 2.08 per mille


Stadl-Paura – A 38-year-old woman drove her children in the car in Stadl-Paura (Wels-Land district) on Tuesday despite being heavily intoxicated. A police patrol became aware of the car at 2:10 p.m. and stopped it. The driver appeared to be clearly intoxicated – the test showed a blood alcohol level of 2.08. The woman said she had driven her six-year-old child to a friend’s house; her nine-year-old child was still in the car. She was not allowed to continue driving and will be reported, the police reported. (APA, red, November 19, 2025)
