Discover Herchcovitch’s documentary, nominated for the 2025 International Emmy

The 53rd edition of International Emmy takes place on the night of November 24th, in New York, in the United States. Among the year’s nominees is Alexandre Herchcovitch, considered one of the main names in the Brazilian fashion industry.

At the awards, the designer competes in the category of Best Artistic Program with the documentary “Herchcovitch: Exposed”produced by Mood Hunter for HBO. The work explores, revealing behind the scenes of creative processes and typical transformations over time.

Far beyond the parade, the story also shows fashion as a social and cultural expression, which crosses police, memories and many pluralities.

HAS CNNAlexandre says he was surprised by the nomination. “Actually, I wasn’t even remembering and thinking that this could happen. For me, it was something that, like, I’ve already released the documentary, so the story is over, but it’s not, right? Things are perceived by other people at different times, right?”, he assured.

“Being in the middle of three other competitors from other parts of the world makes me understand a few things. First, the cultural and expressive relevance of my work and Brazil’s position as a country that, in fact, people perceive as something very interesting to keep an eye on”, he adds.

Although it did not win, Brazil already has a history of being recognized in the world. Since their debut at the awards in 1976, they have won 22 trophies.
