According to the Chamber’s internal rules, the absence of deputies can be deducted from congressmen’s salaries. The amount owed by Eduardo Bolsonaro relates to 4 absences registered in March — at the time, the deputy was already in the USA and had not yet requested a temporary leave of absence.

The inclusion in the Union’s Active Debt was determined by attorney Luísa Gomes Rodrigues de Andrade. The measure could lead to the “03” son of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) having a “dirty name” with credit protection agencies and suffering from an extrajudicial debt protest.

The Chamber tried to execute the debt while still on the March payroll, but did not find a sufficient balance for the debt. Without having anywhere to get the amount from, the House began trying to collect the amount individually.
