The office, controlled by the Palestinian militant group Hamas, said Israeli forces bombed a residential building in Bani Suhajla – a suburb of Khan Younis in the south of the enclave – in the early hours of Thursday local time. The attack claimed three lives and injured 15.
Al Jazeera reports that one child was among the victims. In addition to these three persons, one man was killed in the Israeli attack in the city of Abbasan al-Kabir. A source from the Ministry of Health told AFP that artillery fire continues in the area of the city of Khan Júnis.
A fragile cease-fire has been in effect in the Gaza Strip since October 10, but despite this, new Israeli attacks are regularly reported from this war-torn territory, AFP reminds.
