Cristiano Ronaldo was received by Donald Trump in the Oval Office of the White House last Tuesday, November 18th. The Portuguese star was accompanied by his future wife, Georgina Rodríguez, and both even had the opportunity to attend a dinner held in the East Room, together with world-renowned figures.
The meeting between CR7 and the President of the United States has caused a lot of talk on television programs and social media and this Thursday (20), Filipa Torrinha Nunes decided to speak out.
On her Instagram account, the commentator ‘Passadeira Vermelha’ began by leaving two adjectives about the whole moment: “I haven’t been on Passadeira enough days to comment on everything I feel like, so here’s a quick take of what I consider about this: it’s a country folklore of futility”.
In the end, the psychologist also lamented this meeting between the Portuguese star and one of the greatest world leaders: “But above all, sad. The association in this way with an oppressive, xenophobic leader (among many other beautiful attributes), can only make us very ashamed”.
