Peskov revealed the truth: New news about the peace agreement with Ukraine?!

The Kremlin confirmed on Wednesday that communication with the United States regarding the war in Ukraine continues, but there is currently no new information about a possible peace plan. TASR took over the report from the Reuters agency.

The Kremlin’s statement came just moments after several media outlets reported on the draft peace agreement presented to Kyiv by the United States. According to Reuters sources, the plan envisages that Ukraine will give up part of its territory, some weapons and limit the size of its army.

However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that there is nothing new to announce on this issue since the August summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump. Peskov confirmed that although the two sides continue to communicate, not enough work has been done to allow for another summit.

Great Britain also responded to the draft peace plan on Wednesday and reaffirmed that “shares President Trump’s desire to end this barbaric war”. “Russia could do this as early as tomorrow by withdrawing its forces and ending the illegal invasion,” declared the spokesman of the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
