This is a dish that you can easily prepare in a few moments and with just a few basic ingredients.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 4 cod loins
  • 250 g finely ground breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons of potato flour
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper.

Serve ready-made fish fingers with mashed potatoes or home-made oven fries. It will fit well here too sauerkraut salad.

Cut the fish into finger-sized pieces, along its width.

Crack the egg into a medium-sized bowl. Add milk and mix well. Pour the flour, salt and pepper into the second bowl, and the breadcrumbs into the third.

Then dip the fish in the seasoned flour. Shake off the excess and dip the cod in the milk and egg mixture. Then roll it in breadcrumbs until it is covered on both sides.

Place the sticks on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Put the whole thing in the oven set to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for 15-20 minutes, until nicely golden.
