Roberto Martínezpicker national, was distinguished in Spain with the prize Trajectory in held this Wednesday, in Madrid.
The event where the Spanish coach was distinguished, organized by the newspaper Sport, took place at the headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee. In his speech, with the award in his hands, the coach expressed satisfaction at receiving the first distinction of his career at national level.
After thanking, mainly, his parents and the people of his hometown, Balaguer, the coach pointed to winning next year’s World Cup as the biggest “dream” of his career:
“Now, I’m on the way to achieving something that has never been done by Portugal, which has won everything except the World Cup. I believe that incentives begin with dreams and, for me, this is the biggest dream of my career.”
