Tremembé could win two new seasons

The first season of the true crime series Tremembé, about the prison of famous people, excited Amazon Prime Video executives, who did not expect such an impact and audience success.

So much so, that information is already circulating within the company about the interest in recording two more seasons: “T2” and “T3”.

And that, as soon as possible.

Official information regarding the renewal of the project is therefore awaited.

Tremembé arrived in the Prime Video catalog on October 31st and became the highest-rated production in the platform’s history in Brazil, surpassing the Cangaço Novo series.

In 5 episodes, the production portrays the daily life of the penitentiary that gives the series its name, located in the interior of São Paulo.

Known as the “prison of the famous” for housing those convicted of high-profile crimes, its inmates were Suzane von Richthofen, Elize Matsunaga and Anna Carolina Jatobá.

The series was inspired by works by journalist Ulisses Campbell, in books such as Suzane: Assassina e Manipuladora, which details the case of Suzane von Richthofen, and Elize Matsunaga: A Mulher Que Esquartejou o Marido, about the murder of businessman Marcos Kitano Matsunaga.

The cast of the first season brings together Marina Ruy Barbosa, who plays Suzane von Richthofen; Felipe Simas and Kelner Macêdo as brothers Daniel and Christian Cravinhos; Carol Garcia as Elize Matsunaga; Lucas Oradovschi and Bianca Comparato as Alexandre Nardoni and Anna Carolina Jatobá; Anselmo Vasconcelos as Roger Abdelmassih; Letícia Rodrigues as Sandra Regina Ruiz, Sandrão; Débora Fernanda as Raíssa, a true character who ended up in jail, after killing a child, and Edu Rosa as Lindemberg Alves.
