President Donald Trump signed into law on Wednesday night (19) the law that allows the release of files that are part of the investigation into the case of Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sexual crimes in 2019.

Previously opposed to the release, Trump has completely changed his position since last Sunday (16), when he instructed Republican congressmen to vote in favor of the release.
That reversal came after new suspicions surrounding Trump emerged and House Speaker Mike Johnson suggested that releasing the documents would help end the speculation.
There are several records of Epstein and Trump together in the 1980s and 1990s. The president, but claims they fell out in the 2000s.

Since returning to power, speculation about possible implications of his name in the files has haunted Trump and affected his popularity.
Recently, some of Epstein’s emails came to light. In them, the current president of the United States is mentioned. “Of course he knew about the girls,” Epstein wrote.

Jeffrey Epstein was convicted in 2019 of maintaining a network of sexual exploitation of minors. He died in prison the same year, and the official version is that he committed suicide.
The case files consist of more than 20,000 documents, including numerous email exchanges. Excerpts from these files have already been released publicly and show that numerous personalities participated in parties organized by Epstein.
Among the names mentioned are Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Naomi Campbell, Bill Clinton and, of course, Trump, among others.
