The 54-year-old comedian is at the São Francisco Xavier Hospital. But apparently it was just a scare, Pedro Ribeiro revealed.
Nuno Markl had a stroke (AVC) this Thursday and was transported to the hospital.
According to , the comedian was transported to the São Francisco Xavier Hospital; he had been at Cascais Hospital but then went to the Lisbon hospital unit.
In the early hours there was no information about his health status, but in the meantime, as he started another morning on Rádio Comercial, his work partner Pedro Ribeiro calmed his followers.
“He is being followed and given the best care, recover. The first 48 hours are decisive in understanding the extent of the damage and consequences. Everything leads us to believe that it was just one scare”, said the radio host.
A reinforces this information by indicating that the comedian there is no danger to life. He is being observed in intensive care but has a favorable prognosis.
As you remember, this stroke took place in a phase particularly agitated in his professional life: Rádio Comercial, Taskmaster and also several interviews and autograph sessions related to his new book The Man Who Bit the Dog: A Human Hand Lined in Velvet, Man.
Markl, 54, had already publicly shared that he was being too much work nah last weeks.
And on Wednesday, the day before the stroke, when he finished recording the Taskmaster program, he wrote: “Between recordings and scripts, this is a quite monumental undertaking that absorbs our lives in blocks of two months and such, intensive. We’re at the end of writing and recording season 7. I love doing this, but monkeys will bite me if I don’t go breathe with relief after putting the last period here!”.
