The board of directors of the State Attorneys Association (Apesp) was re-elected on Wednesday (19) for the 2026/27 biennium with the support of 87.29% of the 913 voters. It is the largest vote ever recorded by a ticket in the dispute for command of the entity.
“We are very grateful for the support and trust of the prosecutors of the state of São Paulo, who voted massively for our ticket. We will have relevant legitimacy to continue the work to strengthen PGE-SP and enhance our career”, says the re-elected president of Apesp, José Luiz Souza de Moraes, who was the only candidate.
The category brings together career public lawyers who represent the state of São Paulo in legal disputes.
According to Moraes, the team’s mission is to consolidate institutional advances and expand dialogue between prosecutors and public authorities with civil society.
