Munich – CSU boss Markus Söder is pushing for more speed in Germany to deport migrants without residence rights and to provide relief for the economy as demanded by the Union. The goal is to “organize a deportation offensive next year,” said Söder on Saturday after a two-day closed meeting of the party executive committee in Munich. Federal Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt and his Bavarian counterpart Joachim Herrmann (both CSU) worked to “significantly” increase the number of returns, including to Syria and Afghanistan.
