For almost 30 years, the Austrian artist and filmmaker Oliver Ressler has addressed the climate protection movement, but also other civil rebellion against social injustices, in his works. His films and exhibitions give voice to those who have lost faith in parliamentary processes or who are trying to force a U-turn with their acts of disobedience. As a partisan archivist of these movements, Rössler is confronted with the question of whether his work might make him an activist himself. The answer surprises him too.
