However, in 1995, the situation was opposite. Furacão was the one who guaranteed access to Series A in advance. In the last round, the two teams were tied, with Coxa in the lead due to goal difference.
However, the one who came away with the title was Athletico-PR. While Coritiba drew 1 x 1 with Mogi Mirim in the interior of São Paulo, Rubro-Negro thrashed Central de Caruaru 4 x 1 and became champions of Series B.

Fight for access
Only Coritiba has a guaranteed place in Série A of the 2026 Brasileirão. The other three will be decided this Sunday. Athletico-PR, Criciúma, Goiás, Chapecoense and Remo are the teams seeking access.
Definition of relegation
At the bottom of the table, Paysandu, Volta Redonda and Amazonas have already been relegated to Series C. The last place will be defined between Ferroviária, Botafogo-SP and Athletic.
