Donald Trump criticizes Ukraine: They have not expressed any gratitude for American efforts to end the war

On Sunday, US President Donald Trump on his Truth Social platform again accused Ukraine of a lack of “gratitude” for Washington’s support in the fight against the invasion of Russian forces. He again criticized his predecessor Joe Biden and blamed Europe for continuing to buy oil from Russia. This happened at a time when representatives of both countries are holding talks with representatives of Britain, Germany and France about the American peace plan for Ukraine, AFP reported.

Trump criticizes Ukraine for not expressing gratitude to the US

“UKRAINIAN ‘LEADERSHIP’ SHOWS NO APPRECIATION FOR OUR EFFORTS AND EUROPE CONTINUES TO BUY OIL FROM RUSSIA,” Trump wrote.

In a large part of his post, the American president repeated the statements he had made before. According to him, the war between Russia and Ukraine would “never” have started if the US and Ukraine had “strong and capable” governments.

“It started long before I took office for a second term, during the sleepy Joe Biden administration, and it’s only gotten worse since then,” Trump said.

Trump: I inherited war

“If the 2020 presidential election hadn’t been RIPPED AND STOLEN, which is the only thing radical left-wing Democrats are good at, there would be no war between Ukraine and Russia. There was never a word about it during my first term. (Russian President Vladimir) Putin would never have attacked! It wasn’t until he saw Sleepy Joe in action that he said, ‘Now I have a chance!’ the American president continued.

He went on to write in capital letters that he had inherited a war “that should never have been started, a war that is a loss for everyone, especially the millions who died so needlessly.”

In conclusion, Trump said that the US continues to sell “a huge amount of weapons” to NATO, which then end up in Ukraine. Again, he criticized his predecessor Biden, who “gave everything, free, free, free, INCLUDING ‘A LOT’ OF MONEY!”.
