I serve this bread instead of classic pizza, because it makes a much greater impression on guests. Easy to prepare and extremely aromatic, it is perfect for a party, dinner or as an addition to soups and salads.
This is one of those snacks that taste like from a good restaurant and are made from basic, inexpensive ingredients. Soft yeast dough, herbal butter and melting cheese create the perfect combination. Ingredients for the dough for a pull-apart bread with herb butter:
- 400 g of wheat flour,
- 200 ml of warm milk,
- 15 g of fresh yeast,
- 20 g sugar,
- 1 egg,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 30 g soft butter.
Additionally:
- 2 heads of garlic,
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
- 200 g of soft butter,
- 1 bunch of parsley,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 200 g of grated mozzarella.
This list is enough to prepare an aromatic, soft bread that will work as a snack, an addition to dinner or the main star of a party menu.

Sift the flour into a bowl, make a well in it and mix the crushed yeast with sugar and warm milk. Set aside until the leaven starts to move noticeably. Add the egg, salt and start kneading the dough, gradually adding soft butter until the mixture becomes smooth and elastic. Cover it with a cloth and leave it in a warm place for about an hour. At this time wrap the garlic bulbs drizzled with olive oil in aluminum foil and bake them in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutes until they become soft and creamy.

Grown up roll the dough into a rectanglespread with garlic butter and sprinkle with mozzarella, then cut into smaller rectangles. Place them in layers in a cake tin and bake at 170 degrees Celsius for about 40 minutesuntil the bread is nicely browned. After taking it out, serve immediately, preferably tearing it off piece by piece.
