Man speaks against Bolsonaro at vigil after arrest and is attacked – 11/22/2025 – Power

The senator (PL-RJ) in defense of (PL) had a moment of confusion when a man who identified himself as a pastor made a speech criticizing the former president.

Ismael Lopes, who claimed to be a pastor, took the floor after two other religious people had spoken in support of Bolsonaro, following a decision by the minister of the (Supreme Federal Court).

Bolsonaro supporters who were there began to antagonize Lopes when they realized that the speech was critical of the former president.

Lopes left the crowd and began to be chased by Bolsonaro supporters. He was knocked down and attacked.

Police officers providing security at the scene intervened with pepper spray. Lopes left the scene in a vehicle, heading to the police station, to file a police report.

The vigil, called by Flávio, was attended by allied politicians and a few hundred supporters. The senator who ordered Bolsonaro’s arrest.
