A man was attacked during the vigil called by the senator (PL-RJ) in front of the condominium where the former president (PL) was under house arrest, on Saturday night (22).

Identified as Ismael Lopes and an evangelical, the man asked to speak and was authorized by Bolsonaro’s son. With the microphone in hand and next to Flávio Bolsonaro, he said that the former president should pay for having dug 700,000 graves during the covid-19 pandemic.

“We have been praying that those who open graves fall into them. Not dead, because that is not what we want. We want them to be judged and condemned for the evil they did. Like your father, who opened 700 thousand graves during the pandemic. May he be judged with due legal process, have his right to defense, but be convicted and answer for the crime he committed, as well as all the allies who made up this horde of evil”, he stated.

Flávio Bolsonaro signaled for supporters not to attack the man, but his microphone was taken away and he was pushed out of the Bolsonaro crowd. While being removed, he received kicks.

The vigil was mentioned in the decision of the minister, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), which ordered the preventive detention of former president Jair Bolsonaro. Called on Friday (21), the act would have a religious character and would serve to gather prayers for Bolsonaro’s health and for democracy, according to Flávio.

For Moraes, however, the purpose of the act was to make it more difficult to monitor the precautionary measures imposed and Bolsonaro’s house arrest.
