On Friday, November 21, a gala evening was held in Prague’s Forum Karlín, during which the Czech Nightingale awards for the year 2025 were presented. The presenters did not forget the Slovaks, whom they addressed directly during the live broadcast. Their short speech was published by the marquee show Smotánka.
The biggest star of the evening was clearly the singer Ewa Farna, which defended its championship in the Golden Nightingale category from two previous years. This is already her fourth statuette in this category, and she also won the title Absolute Nightingale.
However, he also appeared on the stage rapper Patrik Rytmus Vrbovský, who was welcomed by moderators Ondřej Sokol and Aleš Háma. Even before the award presentation, the acting couple decided to greet the Slovak viewers. “Greetings to everyone, Ružomberok, Bratiska (translated as Bratislava, editor’s note), Petržalka and Draždiak,” said Háma to the camera.
Immediately Sokol decided to apply for the floor. “Please, the director of the program asked me to say that Draždiak is not a Slovak sexual practice,” he announced, which immediately made the guests present laugh. At the same time, Rytmus himself did not let go of his grin, from which it was difficult to read what he was thinking at that moment.
Háma decided to explain what Draždiak actually is, especially for the Czech audience. “That’s the swimming pool in Petržka (translated as Petržalka, editor’s note), gravel pit,” added a colleague. “It would be strange to say that Aleš goes straight to Dražiak every time he crosses the border, and that would sound strange.” commented the popular actor. Vrbovský then presented the award in the Hip Hop & Rap category, which was won by the singer and rapper Călin Panfili, known under the stage name Calin. The artist with Moldovan roots defended the first place for the third time. In November 2022, he won the Czech Nightingale award in the New Discovery of the Year category, and in 2023 he won the poll in the Hip Hop & Rap category.
