“Punishable by death”: Trump’s unprecedented attack on Democrats

Elements of the Democratic Party called on soldiers not to carry out illegal orders. Trump was irritated.

The US president went on to say that the Democrats are a threat to national security, “dangerous for the country”, for making this appeal.

And he added a strong sentence: “Insurgent behavior, punishable by death“And he thinks the politicians in question should be arrested and brought to justice.

“This is really very bad and dangerous for our country. We cannot allow your words to be accepted”, wrote the US president on the social network.

And even more: he asked in one of his publications whether they should be prisoners; and shared a post from someone else, which reads “Hang them! That’s what George Washington would do!”

Meanwhile, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt rejected that the US president was ask for death of members of Congress.

The six Democratic lawmakers in question reacted: “No threat, intimidation or incitement to violence will prevent us from fulfilling this sacred obligation.”
