The police are asking the public for help in the search for the missing 14-year-old Barbara Garanová from Krásnohorské Podhradie. The girl was last seen on Friday (November 21), since then she has not reported herself. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Košice, Lenka Ivanová.
“The missing person was last seen on Friday, when she went to school, but after the first lesson she left with the excuse that she was going to the doctor. She didn’t come to the doctor or to her place of permanent residence and went to an unknown place.” Ivanova said, adding that the girl did not report anything to her family or loved ones and was staying in an unknown place.
Barbara Garanová is approximately 165 centimeters tall. She has a slim figure and long blond hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black jacket, black pants and black and white sneakers. “Citizens can report any information about a missing person to any department of the Police, by phone at the well-known phone number 158, or through the official page on Facebook in the form of a private message,” Ivanova added.
