Car broke into a waiting area at a ferry terminal in South Korea, police said.

At least three people died this Monday and 10 were injured when they were hit by a car that invaded a waiting area at a ferry terminal in South Korea, police said.

“A woman in her 60s who was in the vehicle and two men who were at the scene were seriously injured and were taken by helicopter to the hospital, but later died,” Jeju Island police said in a statement.

The 10 injured were hospitalized.

The incident occurred on Udo Island, near Jeju, in the south of the country, in the early afternoon. [hora local]when a van driven by a man aged around 60 invaded the waiting area, on the pier, at the ferry terminal.
