The Ferragudo Parish Council announced the holding of the 18th edition of Artenata, which will take place on the 29th, 30th of November and 1st of December 2025, in Largo Rainha D. Leonor and surrounding streets. The municipality highlights that it is “an initiative that once again asserts itself as a space for valuing regional products, artisans and local artists”, stressing that the event “preserves traditional techniques and promotes Algarve talent”.
Aimed at professional or amateur creators, residents or natives of the region, the fair once again aims to reinforce the quality of the offer, give visibility to the work of participants and bring them closer to the public.
Over the three days, Artenata opens its doors at 10:00, bringing together more than 40 exhibitors, street entertainment, inflatables, music, dance and an atmosphere marked by the Christmas spirit.
As in the previous edition, the XVIII Artenata also assumes a solidarity nature, with the Board recalling that “the amount raised through registrations and the show at the Church of Ferragudo – promoted by Ideias do Levante – will be converted into food in favor of the São Vicente de Paulo Conference”.
For greater convenience for visitors, the municipality recommends the use of the free parks located at the entrance to the town, next to the Nave Desportiva, and on the Angrinha riverside area.
The festive program runs throughout the month of December. The Board informs that, on December 13th, at 5:00 pm, the Largo de Ferragudo Christmas Tree will be inaugurated, measuring around 5 meters high.
On the 15th, in the morning, the Ferragudo School Christmas Parade will take place, and on the 20th, from 3:00 pm, Largo Rainha D. Leonor will host a solidarity event promoted by the Friends In Business – Algarve association.
This activity plan has the support of the Lagoa City Council, “both through the delegation of powers and the essential logistical support for holding a fair of this size”.
He also invites the entire population, stating that “Ferragudo invites the entire community to celebrate art, tradition and solidarity”.
