A man was arrested by the Federal Police, this Saturday morning (22), when he disembarked from a commercial flight from Miami, in the United States, at Rio de Janeiro International Airport (Galeão). He was on the run for the crime of criminal organization.
According to the PF, the suspect was identified during routine inspections carried out by agents who monitor passengers with open warrants.
When checking the data, the police confirmed that there was a preventive detention order against him issued by the 1st State Court of Processes and Trial of Crimes of Criminal Organization and Money Laundering of the Court of Justice of Rio Grande do Sul.
The man was approached in the arrivals area and offered no resistance. After going through the usual procedures, he was sent to the state prison system, where he will remain at the disposal of the Justice.
