Nuno Markl recovering from stroke
The guru and former presenter referred to Markl as “pre-obese and proudly pro-vaccines” in a video where he commented on his stroke. The comedian responded by sending Gustavo Santos to “cra****” in a “zen” way.
Nuno Markl’s recovery from the stroke he suffered last week was hit by unexpected controversy.
O influencer Motivationalist and former television presenter Gustavo Santos published a video commenting on Markl’s health, describing him as “pale, flabby, pre-obese, and proudly pro-vaccines” and accusing him of neglecting his own well-being.
“Nuno is not in a hospital bed because he does 789,675 things at the same time. Nuno is in the hospital bed because Don’t do one: take care of yourself”, he stated, also criticizing the priorities and routines of the creator of “The Man Who Bit the Dog”.
Santos also states that “Nuno was warned” and that the stroke did not happen due to “bad luck” and calls for start having “self-love” and stop giving “advice from intensive care”, something that “no one needs”.
The former host of “Dear, I Changed the House” also took the opportunity to reiterate his beliefs about the dangers of vaccines and encouraged Markl to research the risks of the “sting he was promoting” against covid-19 and “questioning science”.
“Fortunately, I repeat, fortunately, Nuno had a second chance. But either Nuno wakes up to life and realizes his reality, or instead of biting dogs for breakfast, he can start eating through a straw or go to a comic book made in his memory”, he adds, concluding the video with an appeal: “Wake up, Nuno, wake up Portugal.”
Markl’s response appeared hours later, on Instagram. “Dear Gustavo, I am very zen right now, and it is very zen that I would like to meet you send it to hell. Good morning!”, wrote the comedian, in a post that he deleted shortly afterwards.

Admitted to the São Francisco Xavier Hospital since Thursday, Nuno Markl continues to share moments of his recovery with his followers. This Sunday morning, the radio host celebrated what he described as a “macro-joy”: being able to get out of bed and sit in an armchair.
In the photograph released, he appears relaxed with his thumb raised and colorful socks. “THE supreme joy of getting out of bed and to sit in an armchair. And cross your leg! Going through one of these is valuing micro-things that become macro-joys”, he wrote.
