Pilot dies after accident at show at Beto Carrero World

Pilot Lurrique Ferrari, 36, died after colliding with a ramp during a maneuver at a motorcycle show at the Beto Carrero World park in Penha (SC). The accident happened on Sunday (Nov 23, 2025), during the “Hot Wheels Epic Show”.

O suspended the attraction this Monday (November 24, 2025) and stated in a statement that it will launch an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.

The accident happened when Lurrique was trying to complete a jump between two ramps. He accelerated the motorcycle after another rider had successfully performed the maneuver, but was unable to complete the movement. The motorcyclist hit his head at the top of the 2nd structure before falling to the ground, suffering serious injuries.

Ferrari, born in Adamantina (SP), was a specialist in wheeling e stunttypes of motorcycle stunts. He had been working at the park for approximately 1 year and also ran a hamburger restaurant with his family, according to information from the .

After the accident, the park’s own fire team provided first aid and transported Ferrari to the Marieta Konder Bornhauser Hospital, in Itajaí. The pilot underwent surgery, but did not survive his injuries, with his death confirmed late on Sunday afternoon.

Beto Carrero World, located on the north coast of Santa Catarina, issued an official statement about the case. “The park is providing support to the family and has already started its internal protocols to investigate the causes of the accident. Out of respect for the family and co-workers, we inform you that the show will not take place this Monday”, says the text, published on Instagram Stories.
