The weather is currently complicating the passage through the Soroška mountain pass. The Košice regional police informs about it on the social network. Drivers are urged to drive extremely carefully on the I/16 road in the section Jablonov nad Turnňő – Lipovník and respect the instructions of the police.
“There is heavy snowfall in the section and there is a continuous layer of snow on the road. Trucks have a problem with passing and are running out to their slipping on the climb to Soroška,” he states, adding that the Slovak Road Administration has been notified and two maintenance vehicles have been dispatched to the site.
