“There are a series of points in this plan that burden Europeans”

In Geneva, CNN Portugal correspondent António Assis Teixeira reports that the Europeans were “not found or found” in the general lines of the North American plan for Ukraine and fear that the document means a capitulation, instead of the “just and lasting peace” that they defend.

He recalls that dossiers that directly affect the future of Europe are at stake, such as the size of the Ukrainian armed forces, the possible cession of territory and the use of frozen Russian assets, and explains that EU leaders will take advantage of the G20 summit to try to present a common position, while negotiations continue at a technical level.
