The party’s benches in Congress to discuss actions regarding the arrest of the former president received a demand from the senator (PL-RJ) for unity and praise from deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG).
All family members spoke emotionally about Bolsonaro, who was preventively arrested on Saturday (22) after trying to violate an electronic ankle monitor. But it was up to the former first lady to give a more personal account, with a lot of crying, according to reports from participants.
The former first lady said that at night, while sleeping, Bolsonaro has hiccups and, sometimes, vomits and may have bronchoaspiration. She said she knows the position she has to leave him in to prevent this from happening, and now she fears he has no one around to put him in a safer position.

Flávio did not mention any specific case, but the most recent episode occurred in Santa Catarina, where Carlos Bolsonaro’s candidacy led to criticism from party members and exchanges of public insults.
To journalists, Flávio denied that he intends to run for President in his father’s place and said that it will be Bolsonaro who will define the eventual candidate and when this will be announced.

I’m not going to make a move to make that happen. Our problem is wonderful, because we have several competitive candidates, prepared, in case it cannot be Bolsonaro”, he stated.
Still according to reports from participants, Carlos paid a compliment to Nikolas Ferreira. In his speech, the councilor told his supporter that he is a politician of the highest level, prepared and with a special ability to communicate. According to reports, the former president’s son said that with each passing day, he admires his ally more.
The deputy from Minas Gerais, who accused the supporter of abandoning the former president and demanded greater demonstrations of support.
About to end the meeting, Nikolas asked to speak, thanked Carlos for speaking and asked for unity in the family’s communication.
