Chinese brand Chery announces hybrid with a range of 1700 km that charges 450 km in 5 minutes

The new Exeed Exlantix ES7 GT is the latest model in Chery’s premium lineup. It goes from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds.

Chery officially revealed the Exeed Exlantix ES7 GTthe first electric vehicle in wagon format from its premium brand Exeed. From medium to large, the model arrives with the promise of combining versatility, record autonomy and a particular focus on performance on long trips.

The ES7 GT stands out for its extended autonomy system combined with three electric motors, a combination that allows the vehicle surpass the 1700 km in the CLTC cyclea value that positions the model among the longest-range electric vehicles on the market.

To support long distances, it also integrates an ultra-fast 1000 V charging system capable of adding approximately 450 km in just five minutes, substantially reducing downtime during trips.

Exeed, created in 2017 to develop premium and electrified vehicles for China and international markets, reinforces its commitment to advanced technology and performance.

The model also integrates Exeed’s latest driver assistance architecture, benefiting from the Falcon 700 platform.

The system uses a set of 27 sensors, offering 360-degree vision and advanced support for automated functionalities. These sensors power a module Journey 6P, with 5600 TPS processing capacity, enabling systems such as high-speed navigation assistance, automatic lane changes and predictive obstacle detection.

The brand also indicates that the vehicle is prepared to receive future software updates.
