The comedian broke his silence about the accusations, in São Paulo. The case came to light in a video by Léo Lins, who accuses manager Bruno Lambert, a personal friend of the presenter and other partners, of leading the scheme that generated losses of R$500,000 for the owners. Before Leo Lins’ statement, the report from LeoDias portal I was already following behind the scenes of the case, but neither party wanted to comment.

Through a joint publication with the company’s profile, the comedian announced the pause of services provided last Sunday (23/11) to restructure the establishment’s operation, in addition to promising to detail the case: “We will soon give you all the details about all the regrettable scoundrelry”.

Danilo Gentili was emphatic in highlighting that, in fact, he was a victim of the scheme allegedly led by Lambert. According to him, the comedy bar “was built to give freedom to comedians, not robbers”: “And we will not rest until each of these things is in its rightful place.”

“We thank the comedians who have always been with us, the employees who remained by our side, the suppliers and partners who understood this regrettable situation and, especially, our customers, who have been filling the club since its opening and
sent, in the last few days, dozens of proofs and extracts of the deviations”, concludes the statement.

In the video in question, he directly accuses. “Let’s get straight to the point. Bruno Lambert is the following: he stole Danilo Gentili”, he said. Next, Lins states that Gentili would have given the former manager “career opportunities, work, visibility, credibility and employment”, and adds: “And how did he reciprocate? By stealing. That was the bargaining chip”.

According to the comedian, Lambert organized a “rachadinha” scheme with waiters at the bar, which would have lasted “a good while”, until inconsistencies at the cash register raised the alarm. Lins reports that an internal investigation preceded the police being called: “When they carried out an investigation, they managed to detect this theft.” He also says that authorities went to the scene and “unmasked the illicit scheme”.
