Carlos and Flávio’s sons arrived to visit their father around 9:30 am this Tuesday (25), at the Federal Police Superintendency in Brasília, where Jair Bolsonaro is being held.
Flávio was carrying the book “Metanoia, the key is in your mind”, “by JB Carvalho, which is described by publishers as a text that proposes experiencing a revolution in thought. Carlos was wearing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles t-shirt.
The minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) authorized the visit of both, one at a time, for up to 30 minutes. According to the decision, they cannot use cell phones or take photos of the meeting.
Bolsonaro was under house arrest until last Saturday (22), when he was taken to the regional headquarters in Brasília. However, the measure was not taken as part of the sentence imposed on him for attempting a coup d’état, which will only occur after the criminal action in the Supreme Court on the case becomes final.
In addition to remaining in the PF, the possibilities of Bolsonaro serving his sentence in the Papuda Penitentiary Complex or in a unit of the Military Police of the Federal District known as “Papudinha” and located in the same region as the prison were discussed.
Rapporteur of the case, Moraes has legal room to determine compliance with the sentence in a monocratic manner — with the possibility of sending the case for confirmation to the First Panel of the STF, just as he did with the decision that determined preventive detention, in the event of an appeal.
