The White House Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, stated this Monday, 24, that she did not know whether the president of the USA, Donald Trump, spoke with former president Jair Bolsonaro before his arrest on Saturday.
“Maybe so, maybe not. As soon as I have more details about this I can bring them,” Leavitt told one of the reporters present at a press conference this Monday.
The secretary also reiterated that the American government considers the Nicolás Maduro regime in Venezuela “illegitimate”.
