Former player Léo Moura declared his support against . In an interview with reporter Netto Motta, from LeoDias Sports portalshown on “Atualiza Já Esporte”, the new attraction of LeoDias TVthis Monday (11/24), the red-and-black idol stated that the Rio club “has to take this Libertadores”.
In the interview, held after a charity match in Maceió (AL), alongside several celebrities, the former full-back spoke about the Uruguayan Arrascaeta’s numbers in 2025: “He’s earning it. He’s become a red-and-black icon. As Flamengo fans, we’re also very happy.”

Despite recognizing the performance of Flamengo’s current squad, Léo Moura, who wore the red-black mantle between 2005 and 2015, joked that he would be able to be a starter in the team at least for a while: “I would be 45 minutes. But more than that… I don’t think I could play 45 minutes”, joked the former athlete, who stated that he would have liked to have retired from the club: “It wasn’t possible, but my time there was remarkable and very rewarding. I’m very happy and grateful for everything Flamengo gave me.”
