Michalovské policemen are investigating the case of the death of a newborn in Strážské. The investigator opened a criminal prosecution for murder, they have not yet provided further information.
Michalovské police officers are investigating the circumstances of the death of a newborn baby, which should have happened on Monday (November 24) morning in Strážský. Lenka Ivanová, spokeswoman for the Regional Directorate of the Police in Košice, told TASR that an autopsy was ordered to determine the exact cause of death. The portal tvnoviny.sk drew attention to the case.
“The investigator of the criminal police department of the District Directorate of the Police in Košice has started a criminal prosecution for the crime of murder,” the spokeswoman said, adding that due to the sensitivity of the case, it is not possible to provide more detailed information.
