Rare autographed piece used by the three-time Formula 1 champion in 1994 is available at a virtual event
A cap from with Ayrton Senna’s autograph is being auctioned virtually with a minimum bid of R$24,500. The piece was made available on Monday (24.Nov.2025), the date on which the completed 31 years of existence. Interested parties can make offers until 7 pm (Brasília time) on Friday (28.Nov.2025).
The rare item belonged to the three-time world champion in who defended Williams in the 1994 season. At the time of publishing this report, no bid had been registered for the autographed cap, which has a certificate of authenticity.
The auction will be held via the website and seeks to raise funds for the creation of the Brazilian Football Sustainability Index, a project that aims to track ESG (environmental, social and governance) actions by Brazilian clubs.
In addition to the cap, fans of the Brazilian driver can also purchase a seat cushion used by Senna in the 1993 British GP at Silverstone. This 2nd item, also autographed by the Brazilian, has an initial value set at R$36,000.
Senna only competed in 3 races for Williams in 1994: the Brazilian, Pacific and San Marino Grands Prix. The driver faced problems with an unstable car due to changes in that season’s regulations, abandoning the first two races. In the 3rd race, in Ímola, the Brazilian died after an accident at the Tamburello curve.
The auctioned cushion was used when Senna finished 5th in the 1993 British GP at Silverstone, before his transfer to Williams.
The auction also includes other collector’s items, such as a sneaker signed by basketball player Kobe Bryant, with a starting bid of R$28,000, shirts from Brazilian football teams and an LP of the album “Thriller”, by Michael Jackson.
