A Fifa announced this Tuesday (25) the composition of the pots that will be part of the 2026 World Cup draw. The event takes place on December 5th, in Washington, United States.
According to the entity that controls world football, .
are still in play. Four of them will come from , and two others from one .
Also according to , in the draw on the 5th, confederation restrictions will be applied, with a group not being allowed to have more than one team from the same region — except UEFA, which will have 16 representatives and will be able to place up to two teams in the same group.
The will be played in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and will take place between June 11th and July 19th.
