The Ethics Council decided this Tuesday (25) to recommend the expulsion of the Lula government’s Minister of Tourism.
Councilors held a meeting to analyze the request. In addition to expelling the minister, the council decided to dissolve the Pará directory, of which Sabino was president, and appoint a provisional committee for the nucleus.
“Unanimously, the councilors voted to approve the intervention of the regional directory of União Brasil in Pará with the dissolution of the local Executive and the appointment of a provisional committee and also for the expulsion and cancellation of Celso Sabino’s party membership”, says an excerpt from the note published by the party on social media.
The management of União Brasil will hold a meeting to ratify the decision of the Ethics Council. The meeting should take place until December 8th. The minister participated in the meeting accompanied by his lawyer.
Sabino was contacted for the report, but until the publication of this text he did not comment. The space remains open.
