It outclasses the December bear and the Star of Bethlehem. This plant will make a bigger impression

It beats the December and the Star of Bethlehem. In winter, this plant will be the most fashionable

This year, do you want to decorate your home with a slightly more interesting Christmas plant than the popular Stars of Bethlehem? Ardusia arborvitae may steal your heart. It is still little known, but it looks really great on a table or chest of drawers.

This cute one fits in perfectly and at the same time it also introduces a note of exoticism into the apartmentbecause it comes from distant regions of Asia (Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, where it grows in forest and swampy areas).

Ardisia arborvitae is an ornamental plant from the primrose family. which comes from Asia, but in Poland it can be grown as a potted flower. You can buy it in gardening stores for about PLN 85-100 per seedling.

It’s not a small amount, but it’s worth spending so much because it’s a wonderful natural decoration that looks beautiful in your home. Especially during Christmas time. The Ardisia tree is spectacularly beautiful.

Its shiny, leathery leaves are impressive, but that’s nothing compared to the red or white fruitwhich are the greatest decoration of this flower. In good conditions, maybe even 5-6 months.

Growing Ardisia is not the easiest thing because it is quite a picky plant in terms of conditions.. Her high expectations include, among others: a place where it must stand in order for it to develop well.

It is sensitive to temperature changes, that’s why It is not recommended to place it next to a window that is opened often, or in a room that is too cold. It feels best in a room where the temperature is 20-24 degrees Celsius (at rest around 2-4 p.m.), in a bright position with slightly diffused light.

It would be ideal to provide it with a fertile, slightly acidic soil. When it comes to caring for Ardisia tree, the most important thing is to water the plant – not excessively, but regularly (about every 10-12 days, when the upper layer of soil dries to about 2-3 cm).
